GAD 296 & 297

It's been a busy few days here at Crochet Head Quarters!

I have been following a very badly written pattern for a tea cosy that took my fancy, so I ended up Googling "Granny Crochet Tea Cosy" to see if there was any help / another pattern available that I could use to resurrect my tea cosy starter, and I think that I am getting there.

Therefore yesterdays' GAD was a simple plain Red Square

But there is nothing to be apologetic about from my point of view as I love Red and it's GAD 296.

Then today I took a Beginners Crochet Lesson which went really well.  M was a talented starter and soon got into the swing of things, mastering the Foundation Chain, Slip stitch, DC, HTR & TR's.  I have given her some homework of working in rows so that she can practice her newly found skills.

So just enough time for GAD 297

Still itching to have it done, especially since it's getting colder at night.
