GAD 187 Weeds & Sunflowers
Granny A Day 187 commemorates the amount of weeds that I pulled from the front garden today - over 2 wheelbarrows full
So GAD 187 is in shades of Green for the main colours of the weeds!
&
Here is my Sunflower which is now of off the blocking board
I am so pleased with how it's turned out

GAD 186 & Sunflowers!
It rained a lot today so I made Sunflowers!
My dog Scooby Doo bought me a book called
Crocheted Flowers by Nicky Epstein
It's written in US crochet terminology, but it's easy to translate, so I got to work on the Sunflower as it really stood out for me as I love Sunflowers
I am currently blocking it as you can see
The intention is to make a whole load of them & to put them on wired stems with some leaves and make a vase full!
Well that's the intention anyway.
As I mentioned earlier, it rained all day today so I made Granny A Day 186 as a representation of what I would have liked weather wise

GAD 184 is a rather dull looking little square
Sad but true
But that's like the weather has been today
DULL
It's the 2nd July today and it should be summer
It's my birthday tomorrow and more rain, gloom & dull weather is forecast
I remember having lovely summer birthdays as a child
Global Warming?
If that's the case how come it's so wet - that is the question!

Granny A Day 182 & 183
Saturday 30th June 2012 is the last day of June and is commemorated by this rather lovely Red & Yellow Granny - I swapped the Yellow to Red half way around row 3
to give the colour change a little twist!
1st July 2012 is this little White and Burgundy square.
The reason that I chose these colours is because these are the exact same colours as the top I am wearing today!
