Granny A Day 331 & 332 & lots more!

Carrying on from the Rainbow from GAD 330 This is the rest of the Rainbow

I know the colours are not exact, but hey, I am using my wool stash!!

GAD 332 is this reversible square

That's the Front op there and the Back down there!!

Oh and this is the "creativity" that is my current work station

When I get a spare 5 minutes, I am adding to this scarf, in the hope that it will be ready in time for the Xmas Bazaar this Saturday

In today's crochet Class we made
Snow Flakes

They are not ready in this photograph, but I will post some more pictures when they are!

Granny A Day #60 & #61 + WIP finished (well one of them anyway)

Granny A Day #60 fell on Leap Year
So I stitched "LY" on the square to mark the occasion

And due to having been away yesterday I had to catch up on both Leap Year's
and
The 1st March Granny A Day on my return

And now for news of my finished WIP

Yes, the scarf that I started some time ago in now complete

It's lovely and long

And can be wrapped around

And around

And around to keep you snug and warm

I love the colours too!

It will soon be featured on my For Sale Page
but if you would like to purchase it before then, please get in touch

Granny A Day #54 PLUS a Students very hard work!

Hasn't she done well?

Not only has LW finished of her lovely "ruffles" scarf

But she completed her homework too, which was to practice making a round in Trebles, so that she go the hang of increasing

AND
She's also made a load more little squares for her blanket too!

I am so pleased with her work as she's only had a few lessons so far, but it's the practising that is making all the difference - so the say is true after all
"Practice makes Perfect"

And from me - here is Granny A Day 54
I haven't been crocheting these last few days as I went away on a mini break

So to have a class to teach first thing this morning was great!

Day 28 GAD + New Granny Scarf

This is the new scarf I am making
It  has been inspired by:
A/ a scarf that I saw for sale in a Sunday Magazine that featured a VERY similar scarf for sale at £400!
I obviously have a lot more squares to add but these pictures will give you the general idea.

Oh and I won't be charging £400 for it once its finished.

and B/ the fact that I am totally hooked on Granny Squares at the moment and just making one a day for Granny a Day is not feeding my addiction.

I really LOVE the black border - there will also be a black edging once I have enough squares made.

This is Granny A Day 28

And here are all 28!

I can't believe that WEEK 5 starts tomorrow!

Finally - remember the brooch that I told you that I had won from Good Girl Designs?

Well here it is on my black raincoat and it looks SUPER!
Shame it's not raincoat weather at the moment - I can't wait!
