Amigurumi Birds

Amigurumi (crocheted or knitted stuffed toy) is the Japanese art of knitting orcrocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.[1] Amigurumi are typically animals, but can include artistic renderings or inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features.

That's the definition and here are my first attempt at Amigurumi birds......

  2. Thanks Donna - these too were on my list of things to do - I like them because they are quick to make, cheerful & easy to do as a break away from a larger project! I hope to see some of yours when you make them!! Ali
