Amigurumi Birds

Amigurumi (crocheted or knitted stuffed toy) is the Japanese art of knitting orcrocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.[1] Amigurumi are typically animals, but can include artistic renderings or inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features.

That's the definition and here are my first attempt at Amigurumi birds......

  1. Aah - I love your little birds. They look great. I really want to try amirugumi - it's the next thing on my list.

  2. Thanks Donna - these too were on my list of things to do - I like them because they are quick to make, cheerful & easy to do as a break away from a larger project! I hope to see some of yours when you make them!! Ali

Thanks for leaving a Comment - I love to get Comments and I will reply as soon as I put my hook and yarn down!
