I really haven't stopped! I have been teaching some wonderful ladies, both from here at home & at KnitWits in Blandford Forum, where I also now have a little part time job (3 hours a week).
Well that is bliss - working in a wool shop!! It's really interesting meeting "woolly" people and helping them to find what they are looking for.
KnitWitsBlandford This is a link to their Facebook Page. They stock the more "unusual" yarns like Noro (Japanese) and Bergere de France.
Back to what's been happening at Get Hooked.
Well, the other day I took a "make a mouse trophy head" class. I got permission from the book Publishers to share this pattern with my pupils & they loved it. "It was a bit fiddly to start with" was the general consensus, but they were working with 4ply wool (merino) and a 2mm hook, so a big change from normal tools!
I know that you may have seen these photos before
However I thought I'd share them again as the Hedgehogs are so adorable!
This was a class I took pre Christmas
Did you get your copy of Inside Crochet Issue 73? Well if not you missed out on my Sampler Blanket which I am so glad to have back now.
It adorns my living room, when its not in my classroom being admired by my pupils.
Don't be scared - thats me without any make up on. I made a design for an easy Cable Crochet Headband & I have put the pattern on my website
I have also been busy taking bookings for my "Crochet Days in Dorset"
March, for Improvers is fully booked as is April for Beginners, so I have added another Beginners weekend in May. If your interested in attending, then go to this link to book your place.
Until next time, remember to....
