Day 107 - Socks!

 

 Day 107 is here - another new colour for another new day!  I think I will shortly run out of a new colour for each day, but I am still trying to get lots more colours together.

And now for SOCKS!

I have made 2 pairs of crochet socks before, and after wearing a pair to my hospital appointment on the 14th February and getting them admired by the consultant I saw, I decided to wear my other pair to the next appointment which was yesterday.  Unfortunately he was off sick, so I saw his registrar, who loved my socks and went on to tell me that Mr S had made notes on file about my crocheted socks!!

So that inspired me to make another pair & after ordering some NORO Sock wool from my favourite stockist

I got to work as soon as it arrived.

However! I have not followed one particular pattern

I have used the start of one for the toe & the foot

Another pattern for the leg

And a combination of 2 patterns

For the heel!

And

Ta - Dah!

One sock is made and another is on my hook as I type!
