Hello 2017

Hello to you all.  It's 2017 and I realise that I haven't blogged for a good while, since October in fact, which is very naughty of me, but I have been through a foot operation, loads of commissions, the Festive Season & arranging new dates for my very affordable Crochet Weekends for beginners & improvers.

All this sort of thing takes time & I find that I am easily distracted when using my computer, so I do have to stay focused.

I am happy to say that I have a very busy teaching schedule for January and for the next few months too. I have beginners workshops on the go, both at home and at a local venue and Improvers workshops too.  I had also sold a lot of gift vouchers for Xmas Presents, and they are now calling in to book up their classes too - phew!

Lots happened in 2016, which has helped my business to grow.  I have been asked by new yarn manufacturers, companies, publishers & private individuals to work for them via commissions, however teaching is my passion.

My Crochet Weekends, the first 2 that I scheduled for March and April this year are already fully booked, so I have now added a further begginers weekend in May now too!

I am currently working of a few things for myself too - like this "poncho" I love trying out new stitches and I have chosen a pack of yarns from PaintBox for this.  It's a great way to use up your frustrations when needing to try out new stitches & this is one way of getting these frustrations out!

Don't you just love the colours.  I can't wait to finish this and wear it around the village.

I met so many lovely people in 2016 and taught so many lovely ladies to hook away.

Here are just a few of the photos from last year:
